Start a solar-watch shortlist with the display and functions you want, then consider fit. These three references illustrate distinct choices rather than a ranking of every solar watch available.

The Casio’s rectangular dimensions are not directly equivalent to a round watch’s diameter. Use these figures to plan a try-on, not to predict comfort from a single number. Water-resistance markings also do not make these three watches interchangeable for diving: follow each model’s instructions.
Citizen BM8180-03E: begin with simplicity
Citizen lists Eco-Drive power, a day/date display and a stainless-steel case. Its small case-width figure makes this a useful candidate if a compact analogue watch is your starting point.
Your decision: do you want the weekday as well as the date, and do you prefer this restrained format to a timing bezel or digital functions? Try the supplied strap and check its length before planning a replacement.

Seiko SNE573P1: begin with the bezel
Seiko specifies a V147 solar movement, date display, screw-down crown and unidirectional rotating bezel. The stated fully charged running time is approximately ten months.
Your decision: is a rotating timing bezel part of what you want to use, or mainly a look you enjoy? Compare the whole case on your wrist and learn the crown operation before purchase. This reference may be encountered through regional stock or pre-owned listings; a manufacturer page alone does not establish local availability.

Casio G-5600UE-1: begin with daily functions
The G-5600UE-1 pairs Tough Solar with shock-resistant construction, world time, five daily alarms and a countdown timer. Casio lists accuracy of ±15 seconds per month.
Your decision: which functions would you actually use? Ask to see the display in ordinary light, try the buttons and read the setting procedure. Do not confuse this reference with another similar-looking square G-SHOCK when comparing listings.

Before you choose a seller
- Match the full reference and supplied band to the listing.
- Check the final price, shipping destination and written warranty coverage.
- Read the charging instructions and think about where the watch will live between wears.
- For a used example, ask about condition and service history rather than relying on the model’s original specification.
